AI Image Prompt Generator
Describe the picture you want and get a prompt shaped for the image model you use. Choose the style – photo, cinematic still, illustration, watercolour, 3D, anime, flat vector and more – the framing, lighting, mood and colours, a camera and lens for photographs, extra details and things to avoid. The output follows each tool’s conventions: Midjourney parameters such as --ar and --no, a separate negative prompt for Stable Diffusion, or a natural description for DALL·E and GPT image models.

AI Image Prompt Generator FAQ
Why do models need different formats?
Midjourney reads parameters, Stable Diffusion uses a separate negative prompt, and DALL·E prefers natural sentences.
What is a negative prompt?
A list of things the image should not contain, such as text or watermarks.
Can I copy an artist’s style?
Check your platform’s rules and respect living artists’ work.
Are real people allowed?
Many platforms forbid images of real people without consent.
What is a negative prompt?
A list of things to avoid, such as “blurry, extra fingers”. Some image models support it; others ignore it.
Writing image prompts
Image models respond to concrete visual words: the subject, the camera’s position, the light and the medium. Abstract words like “beautiful” add little.
Change one element at a time between generations to learn what each word does.
Image models read prompts differently. Some prefer comma-separated keywords, others full sentences; some support negative prompts and weight syntax. The generator shapes the description – subject, style, framing, lighting, mood, colours and lens – for the image model you choose.
For photographic results, camera and lens terms such as “35 mm, f/1.8, shallow depth of field” are strong controls. For illustrations, naming the medium – watercolour, flat vector, 3D render – matters more than adjectives like “beautiful”.
